Bina and Abdullah held their beautiful wedding at The Cable Center in Denver. They began the afternoon by helping each other (and their friends) set up the hall–a little teamwork seems like the perfect start!

Everyone’s hard work paid off–the centerpieces were beautiful! I loved the silver and white color combo–I always get so excited for unique wedding colors!

Bina’s mom got her all bejeweled for the big day!

I always love the getting ready room–so much fun and laughter!

Bina’s niece wasn’t so sure about me and my camera.

The procession into the hall…

Bina is SO BEAUTIFUL and elegant!!

AJ’s turn!

Thanks so much Bina and AJ for sharing your beautiful day with us! We absolutely loved photographing you and your family and friends!
Mindy and Kyle are one of the sweetest couples we’ve worked with. It was so much fun to capture their day–they were both so excited to be getting married. Mindy kept shouting “I’m getting MARRIED!” while the girls were getting ready and it was so cute!!
They had a fantastic bridal party that made our day so much fun. Here are the girls all lined up getting ready for the day!

Mindy and Kyle opted to see each other before the ceremony. They had such a special “first look” moment:

I loved this wedding party–they were up for anything and even made the traditional “everyone in a line” shot FUN:

Some bride and groom portraits in the field of wild flowers by their church…

It was really close to high noon crazy sun during our official portrait time, so we skipped out during the reception for a few minutes to catch some softer evening light portraits:

Look how cute and excited they are!!!

My absolute favorite part of the day was their send-off. The best part of daytime weddings is that you get to make your exit when it’s still daylight, which leaves you with a photo opportunity! I don’t know where Mindy got the idea for colored puff balls, but I LOVE IT! (This shot also doubles as a behind-the scenes photo.)

Mindy and Kyle, thanks for letting us capture your wedding day–we absolutely loved working with you–thanks for being so kind and having such a fantastic bridal party!
We’re still alive! I promise! This our busiest month this year–9 weddings this month, so we are busy little bees making sure that all of our couples get their discs on time!
We completely clicked with Jesse and Veronica at their engagement shoot, so we were very much looking forward to photographing their wedding two weeks ago at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, CO.

Veronica was looking absolutely stunning in her dress and birdcage veil!

The wedding party was a lot of fun…

I love the sun poking through in this one!

We had some really cool light to work with during the ceremony. I love the angle Nic got here:

My favorite shot of the day–caught this as Veronica was walking to do portraits:

The light’s not perfect in this one, but the vista makes up for it!

The grooms cake was so cute! (Jesse works for Warren Miller Entertainment–which is why Nic couldn’t stop asking him questions during the engagement shoot!)

My favorite shot from the reception–the father/daughter dance:

As always, the photobooth was a big hit!

A big thanks to Jesse and Veronica for being so fun to work with! We can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!
Dolores and Daniel’s wedding was a beautiful two day event over Memorial Day weekend. They had their nuptial mass on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Old Colorado City.

Day 2 was a little tough on Dolores and Daniel–Colorado Springs people might remember all of the crazy rain we had that weekend. It washed out their chosen wedding site and poured down on their preferred portrait spots! They made some quick changes and we ended up doing their portraits on the grounds of their reception site–The Briarhurst. It was beautiful and completely green from all the rain we’d had that week. We got some STUNNING portraits!
This ring shot was Nic’s idea and I love it. Perfect way to capture the rain that played such a big part in the day!

I have brought this umbrella to every wedding Just In Case. I was a little excited to finally break it out–I have had rainy day poses rolling around in my head for a while!

I love a pretty cake!!

The toasts were fantastic!

And we had another awesome fight for the garter–check out that jump!

Thanks for having us capture your wedding weekend, Dolores and Daniel! We know the rain was a disappointment but are so glad you were willing to go out in the drizzle for pictures! You were great sports and we wish you all the best!
An approaching storm provided great dramatic skies and light for Mary and Dave’s engagement portrait shoot!
