Showing off a new quilt for the studio.
Lots and lots of work this week. Should have some wedding and portrait sneak peeks to share by the end of the week. If I don’t get too distracted by that sweet smiling face, that is!

Peter and Sarah will be getting married in two days! They got into town early Monday morning, and 7 hours later were at the studio for their engagement shoot. I promised to get the pictures up quickly so they’d have a chance to see them before the wedding! Here’s my favorite!

Destany came to the studio for her senior portraits. When I first opened our business, I photographed a lot of high school seniors every year, but in the last couple of years I’ve toned it down to focus on weddings. Destany made me remember what I love so much about senior shoots. It is so fun to spend an hour concentrating on just one person and capturing a small part of who they are right now. I’m so excited about the images and can’t wait to share them with Destany and her momma!

Yep. She’s gorgeous. I think that’s the best part of this job–getting to show people how incredibly beautiful they are.

I love the big trees at the studio. Almost as much as I love the fields.
Destany brought along a couple of books to use as props (I loved that of course!!). I was also a big fan of the fact that one of the books was Twilight! ![]()
