I had hoped to photograph Gwyn’s birth, but she was quite the independent baby and took even her own mother by surprise with her unusual birth story!

Gwyneth was such a sweet little sleeper. She’s such a tiny little thing–I think she’s the smallest baby I’ve photographed at 5 1/2 lbs!

Gavin was all smiles for me for pictures with his baby sister!

Clint and Bernadette are expecting a baby girl for Christmas!

A little bit brighter processing for this next one–I wanted her cute shoes to pop!

I am so stinking excited to photograph all the big events in this baby’s life. From her birth to her first lost tooth to her graduation from law school…I’m going to capture it all from a front row seat AS HER GODMOTHER. I’m hoping this little baby has her momma’s eyes, her daddy’s patience, and most of all her momma’s ability to make me pee my pants with laughter.

Remember this cutie? Chloe’s back, and cuter than ever!

Chloe is the happiest baby I’ve ever seen. Chris and Courtney must have been VERY good to be given such an easy little sweetheart!

I was so excited when Heather emailed to say that Eloise is now a big sister! Heather and Leon adopted Milo last month and it was so fun to head to their house again for portraits of their new family of four! They have such a cool house and are such a wonderful family–it’s a treat to photograph them!

It’s not a candid family moment without the dog!

Milo is a master of the cool model looks. I just love his serious little looks!

Eloise is just as cute as ever! And so much grown up than the last time I saw her–they change so quickly!

Last Saturday I photographed two families. One had a William, and the other had an Eloise! I found it totally cool that I photographed both of my kids’ names on the very same day, but Nic didn’t seem to find it as cool or interesting as I did, so I’m sharing it with you all in the hope that someone else WILL think it’s as cool as I do! (I always love meeting someone with a Will or Ellie because I know I’ll also like their other kids names. And I did! Baby Will has a big sister Maeve, and Eloise has a little brother Milo). Anyway, back to baby Will. Or Wee William as his dad calls him! Here’s a sneak peek at two pictures from our shoot!

Ian Dwight, born last night at 8:31pm weighing 7lbs, 12oz.

It’s an honor to photograph any birth, but after spending yesterday with Ian’s strong momma and proud daddy, I feel particularly close to them and will hold the memories of Ian’s very first birthday next to the memories of my own babies’ births.
