We met Sarah and Dan last weekend at Garden of the Gods for their engagement photos. We loved Sarah and Dan’s entry in our contest this past winter and were so excited when they hired us to be their wedding photographers. They are such a cute couple!
This shot was actually Dan’s idea. Photography is one of his hobbies, and I was so excited when he suggested a silhouette of them climbing! And thanks to the magic of intense saturation boosting, the blah sky became something amazing!
I heard a rumor that Dan had to be convinced to bring some climbing gear as props, but I’m glad Sarah thought of it–it made for some cute photos! (And a fun challenge for us!)

That silhouette photo is awesome!! Truly amazing, Traci! I have loved following your life over the last few years - getting pregnant and becoming a mommy, and then a professional photographer. It is so exciting. I remember the first time I came across one of your photos…it was while I was searching for New Orleans layouts on TwoPeas, and I saw the bike layout. I remember writing you just to tell you how much I loved all your layouts. Anyway, you are truly one of the most amazing photographers I have seen! I wish you still lived in Hampton roads, you moved only a couple months after we got here. (Thanks for the Botanical Gardens suggestion…they are really beautiful!) If the Air Force ever moves us to Colorado, you can bet we will be giving you a call (often!) I couldn’t think of anyone better to capture the love and happiness in our family. (Sorry, I am having a sentimental day…I have been looking at my two little ones all day, thinking of the future and trying not to cry…haha)
