We are so excited to photograph their wedding ceremonies (I can’t wait for all the beautiful colors of their wedding)! They are a very sweet couple and it was great getting to know them better at their engagement shoot.
They asked for more conservative portraits than we normally do, so that was a fun challenge for me! I love that we were able to capture how wonderfully Faisal cares for Sonya–you can really tell that he is always looking to take care of her!
Faisal and Sonya got engaged on the Millennium Bridge, so it was only appropriate to take a few shots there!
Sonya is so beautiful!

Behind the scenes: We were shooting on a few bridges over a little stream and there was a very happy dog prancing around in the water. He wanted to know what my deal was:
Photographers tend to adopt funny stances as they attempt to become human tripods. I like this one that Nic was sporting. Like he’s going to take this shot, and then break into a run. (I really shouldn’t throw stones about poses…but luckily Nic doesn’t write blog entries.)

Mom - These are gorgeous. I love the ‘conservative’ poses. They look so natural and sweet. And everyone is right–that garden shot is incredible!
