Jen and Chad were married last month at the Lodge at Cathedral Pines here in the Black Forest area of Colorado Springs. We love shooting at Cathedral Pines. Not only is it 10 minutes from our house, but it has such beautiful grounds. The flowers were incredible (and by Dawn of course)! Jennifer has the coolest dress story–she managed to score this gorgeous designer wedding gown brand new for the price of a prom dress. And check out the crazy adorable cupcakes! If you’re a regular blog reader, you know how excited I get about the dessert portion of the day. I was on a torturous allergy elimination diet for Ellie’s eczema (no eggs, wheat, dairy, soy, or nuts) and didn’t get to taste them, but they smelled DIVINE and one of the flavors was Snickerdoodle! Nic promised that once I’m allowed to eat food again, I can take a field trip.

Michael - These are some of the best wedding pictures I’ve ever seen. I’ve been working weddings for 10 years and you guys were awesome to work along side of.
