Wedding portrait – groom (Laura and Ken battled a very rainy day, but we snuck up to their hotel room for some beautiful window-lit portraits–Ken even had a few posing requests, which I loved!): Wedding at Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows

Wedding portrait – groomsmen (This comes from one of our most fun shoots with the guys–after getting dressed the groom and groomsmen walked down to Mustards Last Stand for lunch.  My favorite part of the day was when a very concerned onlooker informed me that [a] a hot dog place is a very strange location for photos and [b] that we were missing the bride.  You could tell that she seriously doubted my credentials as a wedding photographer and half expected me to start shooting everything with my iPhone.)  Wedding at University of Denver

We started a new thing at her wedding that we’ll be trying to do at more weddings–having a slideshow of some of the images play at the reception. So everyone’s actually already seen all but two of these pictures!

Mindy and Brett held their beautiful wedding at the Tapestry House in northern Colorado.  Mindy was a stunning bride–a total real life Barbie doll!!

Mindy’s mom was so sweet–I hear she’s a regular reader of the blog!

The grounds of the Tapestry House were a beautiful place for portraits!

Mindy and Brett will have a memorable story for their honeymoon…their original plans included Mexico, so instead of dashing off for a healthy dose of the swine flu, they’re off to Jamaica instead. 

We ended up getting some gorgeous light right before the grand entrance!
