I got to meet 10 day old Sebastian this week! He is just the cutest thing and it was so fun to photograph him! Ellie was so excited that I was photographing a baby that she hasn’t stopped talking about it. So much so that she was pronouncing his name correctly by the end of the day (having gone from “Baby Bastian” to “Baby Sebastian”)!

Most of the time I photograph families of 4 or 5 but this week I got to photograph a family of six! It was so much fun. They brought a ton of energy to the shoot and taught me really important things that I’d somehow missed in my previous 5 years as a photographer, like ‘sometimes if you want someone to smile you just have to kick them.’
